There are two golf courses on island, The Jolly Harbour Golf Club located just ten minutes from Hermitage Bay and the Cedar Valley Golf Course located 3 miles north of the capital, St. John’s.

The Jolly Harbour course is an established par 71, 18-hole championship golf course, and is open to visitors on a daily fee basis in addition to offering weekly, monthly and annual rates. For updated pricing and tee time reservations, please email the pro shop.

The Cedar Valley Golf Course is a par 70, 6,157 yd course that welcomes players of all levels. The club offers a 300 yd driving range and resident professionals available for private lessons. For more information regarding tee times and club rental, please visit their website.

In nearby Jolly Harbour, there are four floodlit tennis courts and one glass-backed squash court. The complex employs a resident tennis pro and lessons can be arranged.
